Saturday, May 14, 2022. Join the North Country Bird Club on a Bird Walk to see and learn about the birds of Northern New York. Please be sure to wear comfortable shoes and check the weather to dress comfortably. Bug spray and sunscreen are also recommended. Please arrive prior to 9 AM and be ready to see what bird we find. We will be meeting at Southwick’s Beach Trail Head.

Monday, May 30, 2022. Henderson Historical Society Calendars go on sale at the Fire Department. Be sure to plan on stopping by to pick up your 2022-2023 Calendar!

Wednesday, June 15, 2022. Join us in the first of a three-part Find A Grave Series, Why Should I Use Find A Grave? Jon Marie Pearson will discuss the purpose of Find A Grave, the pros and cons of the website and app, how to create your own account, and manage your account settings. The event will begin at 3 pm at the Henderson Historical Society.

Wednesday, June 22, 2022. Join us to hear Larry Corbett from Jefferson County NY Genealogical Society share what he has learned from his research about the life of John Lansing. The presentation will begin at 3 pm at the Henderson Historical Society.

Wednesday, July 20, 2022. Join us in the second of a three-part Find A Grave Series, Find A Grave Memorial Pages. Jon Marie Pearson will discuss what memorial pages are, who handles the pages, and how to create one. The event will begin at 3 pm at the Henderson Historical Society.

Wednesday, July 27, 2022. Join us with Sheila Byrnes who will guide us into how to write your own life story – Part 1. The workshop will begin at 3pm at the Henderson Historical Society.

Wednesday, August 31, 2022. Join us as Sue Witmer shares her research and knowledge she uncovered about the life of Charles Grandison Finney. The presentation will begin at 3pm at Henderson Historical Society.

Wednesday, October 12, 2022. Final Day Museum is open for the season.

Sunday, December 4, 2022. Henderson Historical Society Christmas Party & Open House. Come spend time mingling with others from the community and exploring the museum. Check out our shop of items that make wonderful holiday gifts. The event is open to the public from Noon to 3pm.
